Last weekend we took off work a few days and headed to Vegas for a long weekend to celebrate our friends' birthdays. We went a day before everyone else and spent the first night staying at Encore at the Wynn. I love the Wynn! It's modern yet not too modern, the pools were great and our room was huge. I mean, there was a flat screen in the bathroom. It doesn't get much better than that :) I had high hopes of sleeping in everyday, but the first morning I woke up at 8:00 and was wide awake. So we headed to the buffet (best breakfast buffet ever!), got full, and then came back to the room for naps :) The next few mornings I was able to sleep in a bit more.
Before meeting up with our friends at their timeshare resort, we went to the Encore pool and I had the best strawberry mojito. My fav drink ever.
I made the birthday boy a "beer cake" and used real chips for a Vegas casino as decorations.
One night we had delicious sushi at Yellowtail at the Bellagio...
We went to a Comedy show at Harrahs...
We also had a great dinner at Julian Serrano at Aria...(paella)

It was a fun getaway (my first weekend away from G!) and I am so glad my parents were able to fly out to watch her. I knew she was in good hands and they kept me updated with pictures and videos the entire time.
