Fall Brings Pumpkins, Good Viz, and New Shows!
The fall also brings the best visiblity for diving around Southern CA. There is usually just a few short weeks before the waves get huge (and crossing the channel is horrible) but after the weather has cooled and its the perfect time for diving. Last year we had our best CA dives ever in the month of October with 80 feet of visibility.
Another great thing about fall is our favorite shows are back on! I'm excited for the return of Bones, Gossip Girl, Grey's, and Desperate Housewives. This year Jeff also made a list of all the new shows we wanted to try out. Hey, you gotta try a lot because 99% will get cancelled and if you are lucky you have one or two keepers. So the new ones I have watched are:
The Event -- so far so good!
Law and Order LA -- a keeper I think, and they film a lot of it around El Segundo!
Outlaw -- I like it but not sure if it will make it
Lonestar -- just okay and I doubt it will make it a full season
The Whole Truth -- I love the concept of this show. It's probably my favorite after the Event
In addtion to those, Jeff has on his DVR: Outsourced, Hawaii Five-O and The Chase (I think that is it?). Yes, we have two living room DVR's...the family one and Jeff's. It may seem like we watch too much TV but really I only watch about 1 hour when I get home from work. So it's not as bad as it seems!
