Day 5 and 6 (At Sea)

The final two days of our trip were spent at sea. The first day we had beautiful hot weather and we spent most of the day doing this:

spending our day here: (this pic was taken another day, when it wasn't so sunny)

and enjoying these:

Actually I enjoyed the frozen Mojitos and Jeff was enjoying the bloody mary's :) People warned us drinks were expensive, and they were but not horrible. Not worse than LA prices. And every drink we had was made perfectly, so you can't complain!

Friday night was lots of fun! We had dinner with our new friends, went to W&G bar to watch Marty our favorite singer, then went to something called The Quest. All we knew was it was some sort of interactive competition for adults only. No one would tell us anything else, but everyone said you must go. We got there 30 minutes early and the places was already PACKED. Standing room only! We luckily got a table in the back (its like stadium seating but then tables around the perimeter). I can't really explain it without ruining it for others, but if you ever go on a Royal Caribbean cruise, go to it!!! It is hilarious! Even if you don't get involved and just watch (like us, because we were in the back), it is so FUN! After the Quest, we went back to Marty's, then to the "Dragon's Lair" the "disco" aka club. Somehow when we finally made it to our room it was almost 4am!

On Saturday the weather was colder and windy (we expected this, apparently its typical because of the wind direction?) so we planned on spending the day in the sports bar watching the beginning of college football. We got up early to have breakfast in the formal dining room (amazing since we got in a 4am). Blah. The formal dining room is not worth getting up early for, the food was the same as the buffet area. Anyway, we went back to the room to take a nap, watched a little football, and then all of the sudden ESPN quit working. We knew we wouldn't see OU's game against Utah State on PPV, but we figured we'd at least get score updates on ESPN. Nope, no such let because the satellite broke and was out all day long!! No football for us! We ended up getting in the hot tub, laying out a little, despite the cold, and watching some of the activities on the ship. Later that night we had one final dinner with our new friends, went to the adult comedy show (hilarious) and went to bed at a decent time since we had to get up bright and early to leave. It was such a FUN trip and I feel like we did so much and really took advantage of all the ships fun!
