Birthday Weekend

We have been so busy lately that I have gotten behind with updates. My Birthday was almost a month ago, but here's a highlight of our weekend! We went down to San Diego the weekend before my Birthday. We started Saturday off with Sonic for breakfast on the way down, then went to La Jolla for a memorable dive. The conditions weren't great (they were horrible) but Jeff did see a huge Shark. It was a beautiful day in La Jolla! The surge was so strong that I don't have any good pictures from the dive, but it a fun adventure for sure! We then went downtown and checked in at the Andaz hotel The hotel had a neat wine bar where you used a card to swipe and order wines from the vault and it poured directly into your glass. That evening we went to the Wine and Dine event at the Hard Rock with the Nelsons and other friends. We had a great time sampling some of San Diego's finest wine's and foods. Sunday we had a nice breakfast in bed and then hung out on the roof top deck

For lunch we went to the Tin Fish for my favorite fish tacos and then we headed back home.

On Monday, my actual Birthday, my friends at work treated me to PF Changs for lunch, where they gave us a free peice of huge chocolate cake. Then I went home to find the table all set up with gifts from my family and a nice steak dinner prepared by Jeff. He also got me a chocolate marble cake from Susie Cakes (on of my favs). It was a great Birthday!!
