Jeff and I met Shad and Vanessa through our friend Mike, who was roommates with Shad. We would go to parties at their famous Manhattan Beach house and then even after Mike moved away, we have stayed friends with them. Vanessa is such an amazing person - beautiful on the inside and the out. They are one of those couples we don't see as much as we'd like, but when we do it is always a fun evening. Their wedding represented them perfectly, it was full of love, so personal and beautiful, and of course fun. They said their own vows, and I have never seen more people crying at a wedding than at theirs. It was truly special. Jeff and I had such a great time at their wedding and can't wait to see what the feature holds for them!
This area of the reception had yard games! So fun!!
I loved how the chairs made a circle around them. It was so intimate. Unfortunately, Jeff had to catch a flight that night for work so we didn't get to stay the entire wedding. We kept checking his flight hoping it would get cancelled because once we arrived at the wedding we really didn't want to leave.
