Last weekend Joanna and I hosted a Favorite Things Party at my house. We had about 10 girls come and had such a fun time. Everyone thought of a favorite item that they love and use (around $15 value) and brought three of that item. We then drew three names each and you got to take home the gifts that those three girls brought. So you go home with three new favorite things! We also had each girl talk about why she brought the items and why she loves them. Everyone also brought their favorite appetizer or dessert (most brought desserts of course!). We had carmel apples, cupcakes, cookies, spinach and artichoke dip, pizza rolls, bacon wrapped dates, popcorn, oreo balls, and more!
Items people brought were lip gloss, bath products, nail polish, Amazon gift cards, Starbucks gift cards, kitchen bowls, measuring cups, water bottles, Spin class gift certificate etc.
For drinks, we served my favorite strawberry mojitos, as well as wine, mulled wine (wine and hot cider with some spices), and martinis. We had a great evening learning about each other, and having lots of girl talk :)
Meanwhile, the guys were outside having a cornhole tournament! :) At the end of the night we were nice and went outside with the uneaten food and let them pig out.
