5 Months!

 

 

 

 

 

Giuliana is 5 months! She is rolling, eating and babbling up a storm. She rolls over from back to tummy in a second but is still struggling with the tummy to back. She has only done it a few times, but I think she will get it down soon. We introduced baby oatmeal at about 4 1/2 months old, then pears a week later, then carrots, then squash and most recently apples (all homemade except the apples which was organic applesauce). Just within the past few days she has started to really get into eating and will open her mouth as wide as can be and kick her legs with delight. It's too cute! She is also chewing on anything and everything, so maybe we will get some teeth soon.

One of her favorite things is petting and watching Shadow. If she is crying and he walks in the room she always stops and when he is playing fetch and she is in the baby bjorn she will kick her feet when he is running back with the ball towards her. She loves her Puppy! She also loves to play with her Dad. She especially loves to grab at his face and his beard and when he rubs his beard on her neck. We get the best laughs when he does that. She also loves eskimo kisses, getting tickled, reading books playing in her jumperoo. Anything that she can "spin" is a favorite.

She is down to 4 feedings a day (7, 11, 3 and 7) and baby food at 8, 12 and 4:00. She takes a morning nap and an afternoon nap, which can last from one to two hours. Last night she took an evening catnap for over an hour but that hasn't happened in over a month, so I'm guessing it has to do with the little cold she has or teething. She goes to bed at 7:00ish and sleeps until 6:30 or 7:00.

I have a feeling she will be crawling in the next month or so. Shadow better watch out! He has no idea what is about to come :)

We love her so much and watching her change and grow is so fun. It's amazing how much they change in just a month!
