After raining ALL week last week, the sun finally came out on Saturday. Us Californians are not use to rain for 5 days straight, so when we woke up to beatiful sunny day on Saturday we decided to head to the beach for breakfast. It seemed like everyone else had the same idea! The boardwalk was packed with people walking their dogs, riding bikes, pushing their strollers...there were even girls playing volleyball in their swimsuits (they might have been a bit too excited to see the sun as it was still about 60 degress outside)!
We had a great breakfast in Hermosa Beach at Scotty's, which of course reminds me of one of my best friends Scott, so I had to take a picture of the sign just for him!

Later that day we saw Avatar. It was really good and I'm so glad we saw it at the theater. It's really a must-see-in-the-theater kind of movie and the 3-d was really cool!
