Welcome!

Welcome to our blog! For my first post I thought I would post the poem that I was going to include in our Christmas card, but never did. It kinda summarizes our year so I thought it would be a good way to start the blog!

In January Lindsay worked day and night
New to the office she started off right
Representing Larry Flynt in a big jury trial
She worked hard, stayed late, and went the extra mile
When the case settled her boss offered her to stay as an Attorney
Which then lead to our Irvine to LA moving journey

El Segundo is where we decide we wanted to be
A cute little town, nestled between LAX and the sea
We found a cute townhouse, across from a park so Shadow can play
We are out there throwing his ball at least five times a day!

Then it was flowers, cakes and décor
Planning the wedding was quite a chore
But when it was all said and done
We had the day of our dreams, and everyone had fun!

We headed to Bora Bora for our dream honeymoon
The week of relaxation ended much to soon
Our room was a hut over the crystal blue ocean
Our week consisted of lounging, diving, and lots of suntan lotion!

We learned to SCUBA dive, and Jeff has worked very hard
He now even has a Rescue Diver certification card
Diving together has become very fun
Spending the day on the boat, diving and getting some sun
In Bora Bora we saw sharks, stingrays, turtles and lots of fish
Diving the in warm tropical water is something we will miss

Jeff has been working hard with his blackberry never leading his side
At least he left it at home when he went to Bora Bora with his bride
In August his company was bought out by DirecTV
No, we cannot hook you up with satellite for free :)

Fall rolled around and we couldn't wait to cheer on the Crimson and Cream
We never expected this 6 and 5 team!
Of course half the team is on cruches with a cast
But don't worry, next year we will be back!

For the Holidays we will be packing up the car...
Driving to Oklahoma, it's really not that far!
Playing ball with Shadow at rest stops is quite fun
Especially when its snowing and the temperature is negative 1.

But spending time with family and friends makes it worth the drive
We couldn't imagine the holidays without our family by our side
We are looking forward to (finally) a Sooner bowl game win,
And We hope you have a wonderful holiday and an even better 2010!
